Gone missing but still Love You!

Hi there!

I feel I need to apologise for completely going missing of the crafting world, but then that will be all I will be doing from now on in my future posts, because truly right now I don't see me crafting and posting regularly like I did before. On the other hand, I still enjoy doing some crafting or colouring now and again, and even though some times I don't even stop to take pictures of all the other crafting that I'm doing, when it comes to Copic colouring and the use of stamps, I do feel that I want to post my efforts, and it seems that this is the right place to do it.

Therefore, here is my mini card, and I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed doing it.

Cheers

In this card I used Hannah Hearts, rubber stamp by Kraftin Kimmie.

Beautiful Baby Boy

Hi there!

Today I'm back to show a simple card that I made to welcome my friend's baby. I have not been crafting to much lately but like always I really enjoy myself when I do it.
This time I didn't used a coloured stamp but instead a patterned paper collection by Dayka Trade that a friend of mine gifted me some time ago. Thank you dearly!

I hope you like it =)

Belated Costumised Agenda

Hi there!

Today I want to show you my newly customized year agenda/planner. I have been wanting to create my own agenda for some years now, but didn't know what to put inside and never found the time. This year I thought I would use a ring binder so that I could add inserts or change whatever I wanted.
For the inside I used a free printable from El taller de TROCO, and started using it right away.
Only some days ago, I find some time and peace to be able to customize the ring binder, and with some fabric from old jeans I made with =)

Hope you like it

Sunflowers

Hi there!

Today I want to show you a card that I had wanted to do for some time. I love this image Keep in Faith from Ching-Chou Kuik, and when I found this quote on the internet I thought it was perfect for it. Then I had my doubts while I was working on it, because some may think that implies that some are better than others, but I think it means: "be happy with who you are, because you are beautiful no matter what" ;)

Hope you like it. I really enjoyed the colouring

Fabric Book Mark

Hi there!

Today I came to show you my last project as GD at A Day For Daisies. Since the first time I saw this image, I knew I wanted to make a bookmark for my little flower, but she is still a bit young and anything made out of paper in her small hands, doesn't last very long. Therefore, after thinking a bit about this project, I decided to make a fabric bookmark, more resistant than paper and washable.

Hope you like it =)

In this project: Digital stamp "Book Time" from A day for Daisies.
For this project I transfered the image onto fabric using Mod Podge.
That is, I printed the stamp on a shet of paper, cut it out and covered the image with Mod Podge.
Then, placed the paper on top of a piece of cream fabric and let it out to dry for 24h.
Finally I gently removed the paper using a wet cloth and rubbing with my fingers.
When the fabric was dry, I was ready to start colouring.
Finally, after the colouring was done, I covered with Mod Podge again to make it water resistant.

Confidence is

Hi there!

Here I am back with my second card as GD for A Day For Daisies. I love the Aloha Beauties collection that includes this image, they are sensuality and confidence. Have to say that I was very happy with this card until just now I have been informed that the sentiment includes a typo (bit annoyed with hubby right now, because I it showed it to him and he didn't say anything... English is not my first language but his =])

Anyway, I still like it as it is =D

I did the background paper with drops of copic refills.
I'm sure you must have seen this technique plenty of times, in the picture below you can see the colours that I used.

Always & Forever

Hi there!

This month I have the great honor of being Guest Designer for A Day For Daises. I was very happy when they chose me, because I have been a big fan of their images for the moment I started card making. You can see here that some of my first post in this blog use ADFD images. Today I consider myself even more lucky, as I just found out that this may be their last challenge, at least for some time.

So, this is my card for their February challenge, with the theme "Love is in the Air/Anything Goes" using Mr. Right.

Hope you like it =)

Warm Winter Wishes

Hi there!

This is my first post from 2017 so... Happy new Year to you all!!!
I have been a bit disconnected from the craft world lately but life speed in this days hasn't given me much time, although I have missed my markers and papers.
Anyway... I still managed to make a winter card to greet some family friends ;)

Hope you like it =)

My Own Kind of Beautiful

Hi there!

Last week while helping my son find some inspiration to make a collage for his school homework and... an idea grew on my head. I had never used magazine cut outs in my art journal before, but... I decided to give it a try and this is what came out.

What you think??

In this spread I used:
Old book pages, gesso, watercolor effect crayons,  white gel marker,  swirl stamps and black ink pad.
Magazine cut outs, printed quote, posca pens, medium gel, PITT black markers.

Getting Started with Chrismas Cards

Hi there!

This year, the beginning of the school year has been hectic. I haven't done any colouring, crafting or anything. The other night I saw a card from the fantastic Deborah Deruyck at Deborah's Shining Cards, and I thought I'll try to scrap lift her, to see if I get into the mood of Xmas cards. This is what came out. I just need to remember that for some reason I don't like golden foiled paper.

Nuff said =P
