Denim Altered Notebook

Hi there!

Today the denim tutorial that I posted here a few weeks ago has been featured in A Place to Start, a blog that my friend Chana from Redora Lee Designs and 613 Avenue Create started to help people that are newbies at paper crafting and challenges get started.

For that reason I thought it was a good time to post another denim upcycled project that I made these days as a present for one of my kids teachers. This time is an altered notebook, unbinded lined and bound again, matched with a bookmark.

Hope you like it =)

Advent Calendar 2014

Hi there!

It is time for another challenge at 613 Avenue Create. It is challenge #100!! And the optional twist is to create a calendar. Because of the date, my first thought went to an Advent Calendar.

This is not a tradition in this area of Spain, but it was a tradition for my hubby. So, last year, we spoke about making one, and at the end teamed up to improvise one in a few hours on November 30th, after the kids went to bed.

No need to say that my sweet little boy (who is five now) loved it, and this year in august he was already asking when could he have it again. My little flower (who is two) doesn't remember last year, and since I started putting it up, doesn't stop asking if she can have one. Only one? she says =) (poor little thing <3<3<3)

Anyway, today I'm showcasing Christmas Papers from Fred She Said, and for decoration I also used a poinsettia done with their digi which I had from a previous challenge. Thank you!!

All the little packets are stitched together. All the decorations except the choco Santas are handmade. =)

Hope you like it!

Come and join the fun!

Felt Roses

Hi there!

Today I wanted to tell you more about my die cutting machine, because since I had it at the beginning of the year, I take any chance to try what can I do with it. One of the reason why I decided to buy this type of cutting machine is because I like to work with felt. So the other day, I used my die cuts to cut some quilled roused and butterflies to use them in my project. Finally, I ended up putting together a hair band for my Little Flower, because she loves to wear them.

Hope you like it!

In this work, both felt and dies from That Craft Place.

BTW! I heard a rumour that on Friday May 30th you can get 15% off selected Dies in That Craft Place... All you have to do is introduce someone new (who is NOT currently a customer of That Craft Place) and YOU BOTH get 15% off selected Dies!!!! Now that is a deal to see out the end of the Month!!!! Its a One Day Only deal! PASS IT ON...

Altered Agenda 2014

Hi there!

I'm back today with a new entry, different from the ones I've done so far.

I have taken a publicity agenda from the office and altered it, to make it look pretty. This year I wanted to try something different, because the one from last year, although it survived quite well, at the end of the year the paper was damaged in the corners and the joints between the lids and the spine. So, I went to my treasure box at took out some old jeans, and some of this iron sticky paper that I use to make t-shirts in the summer. And this is what came out.

Hope you like it :)

To do this I used half the lego t one of Daddy's jeans, one back pocket from some fashion jeans from when I was young and slim, some felt scraps and beads.

The paper on the inside is from MME, Lost and Found collection.

And it's as handy as it looks to carry all my things!

This altered agenda goes to the following challenges:
