Belated Costumised Agenda

Hi there!

Today I want to show you my newly customized year agenda/planner. I have been wanting to create my own agenda for some years now, but didn't know what to put inside and never found the time. This year I thought I would use a ring binder so that I could add inserts or change whatever I wanted.

For the inside I used a free printable from El taller de TROCO, and started using it right away.

Only some days ago, I find some time and peace to be able to customize the ring binder, and with some fabric from old jeans I made with =)

Denim Altered Notebook

Hi there!

Today the denim tutorial that I posted here a few weeks ago has been featured in A Place to Start, a blog that my friend Chana from Redora Lee Designs and 613 Avenue Create started to help people that are newbies at paper crafting and challenges get started.

For that reason I thought it was a good time to post another denim upcycled project that I made these days as a present for one of my kids teachers. This time is an altered notebook, unbinded lined and bound again, matched with a bookmark.

Faery Dress

Hi there!

It is challenge time at 613 Avenue Create. This is challenge #126 and today I am on the role for Anything Goes inspiration.

I hope you like what I made this time =)

In this dress: Digital stamp by Faery Ink.

Made from a basic t-shirt, by adding the ruffles, 

the flower ribbon, the image and butterflies.

I make another t-shirt for my sweet little knight. This time I tranfered the image onto a piece of another t and them coloured and appliquéd the circle and some more stars onto the t-shirt.

Elephant T-shirt

Today I wanted to show you a t-shirt that I did for my sweet boy. I like to make t-shirts for him every summer, but he is already turning 5 and boys are never that easy when it comes to designs. So, this year I had this idea. I asked him to draw something that he would like to wear on a t-shirt and this is what he came with.

My New Handbag

Hi there!

Today I want to show you my new bag :). Some time ago I used to do lots of patchwork. I love the fabrics, you can find them in all colours and patterns. Whenever I cut through one of them, it was very difficult to me to throw away even the tiniest scrap. And now, the time comes to use even the bits that seem more difficult to use: the selvedge or selvage. That is right, that is what I made the body of my bag with.

Avui vull ensenyar-te la meua nova borsa :). Fa temps solia fer molt de patchwork. M'encanten les teles, les pots trobar amb tots els colors i estampats. Cada vegada que tallava alguna d'aquelles peces me guardava fins i tot els més xicotets retalls. I ara, ha arribat el moment d'utilitzar fins i tot els trossos que semblaven més difícils d'usar: les vores vives. si, es correcte, això es amb el que esta fet el cos d'aquesta borsa.

Dress with Butterflies

Hi there!

Today I wanted to show you a summer dress for my Little Flower. She says it's covered in "bugs" and she loves it! I cut the butterflies with my Cuttlebug, I love using it on other materials different than paper. I recognize that is the reason why I bought it instead of other more modern pieces of equipment. Do you use your die cutting machine with different materials?

Avui et vull ensenyar un vestidet d'estiu per a la meua Floreta. Ella diu que te "bitxos" però la veritat és que li encanta! He tallat les papallones amb la meua Cuttlebug. M'encanta utilitzar-la amb altres materials que no siguen paper. He de reconéixer que és el principal motiu pel qual hem vaig decidir per aquesta máquina en lloc d'altres equips més moderns. Y tu? T'agrada utilitzar les maquines de tall amb materials diferents?

Altered Can

Hi there!

It is time for another challenge at That Craft Place Challenge Blog. The challenge theme for this fortnight is Alter a Can. I have to say that I had never altered a can before and I really had lots of fun playing with this one. My can was quite big, 9" tall and 5" diameter. It used to be the can where I stored my ribbons but recently it became to small and I decided to store them somewhere else. I decided to make a can to store some sewing tools in the mill house and that gave me the chance to use some papers that I was saving for some special project.
