Belated Costumised Agenda

Hi there!

Today I want to show you my newly customized year agenda/planner. I have been wanting to create my own agenda for some years now, but didn't know what to put inside and never found the time. This year I thought I would use a ring binder so that I could add inserts or change whatever I wanted.
For the inside I used a free printable from El taller de TROCO, and started using it right away.
Only some days ago, I find some time and peace to be able to customize the ring binder, and with some fabric from old jeans I made with =)

Hope you like it

Denim Altered Notebook

Hi there!

Today the denim tutorial that I posted here a few weeks ago has been featured in A Place to Start, a blog that my friend Chana from Redora Lee Designs and 613 Avenue Create started to help people that are newbies at paper crafting and challenges get started.

For that reason I thought it was a good time to post another denim upcycled project that I made these days as a present for one of my kids teachers. This time is an altered notebook, unbinded lined and bound again, matched with a bookmark.

Hope you like it =)

Snowball Fairy

Hi there!

Today I want to show you my project for the current challenge at Copic Marker Spain.
After all those Christmas cards, I felt like doing something different. Our sponsor this month is Kraftin Kimmie, and when I saw that my lovely Snowball Fairy fitted in it, I decided to alter a box of cheese portions.

In this project: Patterned paper from Humphrey's Corner, pom-pom trim, lace, rick-rack ribbon, blue rafia cord, crochet snowflake, paper flowers, sequins, liquid pearls, glitter glue and a dewdrop.

Colouring details can be found here.

A view from the box side.

A view from the inside.

An a picture of the half decorated box, because I forgot to take one before starting =P.

Hi there!

Today I'm here to show you what I did for my inspiration post over at Zuri Artsy Craftsy Challenge Blog. I'd assume now you are acquaintance with Zuri's images, but if you are not, hop over to her blog, where you will find plenty of cute and free images to try on your colouring skills.

And this time, I've altered a notebook. It's for myself to go to school :oP. Not kidding. Hehe. I will use it to go to the lots of meetings and commitments that I have at my kids school, but the image and the papers remind me so much of my high school and early university days that for a moment when I was doing it I thought I was under 20 again!

Hope you like it :)

Elephant T-shirt

Hi there!

Today I wanted to show you a t-shirt that I did for my sweet boy. I like to make t-shirts for him every summer, but he is already turning 5 and boys are never that easy when it comes to designs. So, this year I had this idea. I asked him to draw something that he would like to wear on a t-shirt and this is what he came with.

Hope you like this

Sewing Can (Altered Can II)

Hi there!

Although I'm supposed to be on Holiday, I'm going through a period of whimsical creative mood. I've got plenty of started cards, coloured images and not paper projects taking all the space of my desk.

Last weekend I took home the altered can with sewing theme, that I showed you here, to decorate the lid, because I rushed it on to the challenge blog, without having had the time to do it. And this morning the inspiration came to me.

Hope you like what I've done with it :)

In this work: Digital Stamp from The Paper Shelter (digitally pre-coloured image), die-cut shapes, liquid pearls, lace and ric-rac trims, crochet flowers, flat back pearls, plain buttons and fantasy buttons, fabric and paper flower.

A t-Shirt for Me!!

Hi there!

It is time for another challenge at 613 Avenue Create. This is challenge #74 and our twist is "Make something for yourself!". And you know that what I like most is to do things that I can use or wear ;). For this challenge I chose a stamps from A Day for Daisies, which I LOVE, but when choosing it I didn't realise that I if the Moon is out, it means that it's the night. So... I struggled a bit to get my project finished. However, I'm very happy with the result.

I hope you like it

Hola!

Espere que us agrade ;)

In this t-shirt: Digital Stamp from A Day for Daisies

Altered Can

Hi there!

It is time for another challenge at That Craft Place Challenge Blog. The challenge theme for this fortnight is Alter a Can. I have to say that I had never altered a can before and I really had lots of fun playing with this one. My can was quite big, 9" tall and 5" diameter. It used to be the can where I stored my ribbons but recently it became to small and I decided to store them somewhere else. I decided to make a can to store some sewing tools in the mill house and that gave me the chance to use some papers that I was saving for some special project.

Hope you like this :)

In this can:
- Patterned papers from MME
- Bronzee Tone Scisors Charm Pendant
- Buttons
- Fantasy Buttons Dress It Up - A Stitch in Time (sewing machine)
- Flat back pearls
- Lace
- Ribbon
- Brown twine
- Distress Inks (Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo)
- Die cuts (Spellbinders and Die-namics)
- Paper roses
- Resin cabochon
Everything from That Craft Place
